JimCRESSYJim Cressy, on 13th October 2019, passed peacefully aged 99 years. Beloved husband of Libby, devoted father of Andrew, James, Paul & Claire and greatly loved grandad of Hana, Katya, Lukas & Pippa. After serving in the RAF as a Spitfire pilot during WWII he went into the hotel and restaurant trade founding a number of very successful businesses including The Bridge House on Reigate Hill, The Seven Hills Hotel in Cobham and San Frediano's on the Fulham Road, London. In the late 80's he moved to the West Country where he spent the rest of his life. A Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Church, Selworthy on Friday 25th October 2019 at 2.30pm. I meet Mr cressy when I was14 years old way back in 1979 I was a Saturday boy at the Sevenhills hotel Cobham he had just sold the hotel and was handing over he was a great man to me and will never forget him I stayed at the hotel after school and became a chef Barry King
